Lozentz is a low-key, family oriented (and almost exclusively Bulgarian) resort with hotels and lodging in private homes, situated 5 km north of Tzarevo. North and South of the resort lay two fully equipped camp areas with excellent beaches and places for rest and relaxation.
For those who like travelling, the Lozenets region offers a rich variety of opportunities.
To the north of Lozenets 180 km away is Varna – the biggest sea town in Bulgaria. It takes about two hours by car to reach Varna.
It will take you only an hour to go to Sunny Beach – one of the most famous summer resorts in Bulgaria. In the same direction is the old town of Nessebar – a town-museum which has kept the ruins of the ancient Roman town Messemvria.
To the south of Bourgas to Lozenetz there are also many summer resorts and vacation villages – Chernomoretz, Primorsko, Kiten, Tsarevo and Ahtopol. In the same direction there is the town of Sozopol, and the Ropotamo reserve.
In the most southern part of the Region of Bourgas are the Strandja Mountains. It is the biggest natural park in Bulgaria. It has an extremely rich natural collection of flora and fauna – over 50 % of the flora in the country is located there.
